DAY 25: The Flow of God From Within
Reading John 5-7
It’s day 25! Today’s reading is John chapters 5 through 7, and we’re continuing with our theme this month: Reestablishing the Norm.
In John chapter 5, Jesus shows us the normalcy of humility—and the power that flows from it.
When He says: I of my own self can do nothing, that’s not some radical statement. It’s actually obvious—nothing we do originates from ourselves because we didn’t even create ourselves.
Humility isn’t supernatural.
It’s just normal when you know who your Source is.
In John chapter 6, Jesus makes another clarifying statement:
Search the scriptures, for in them you think you have life… He’s saying: it’s fine to search the Word.
But if you stop at the page and never come to Him, you miss the whole point.
The scriptures testify of Him.
And most people don’t come all the way to Jesus or to the Jesus consciousness that says:
I am one with the Father.
Not just that He is—but that we are. That’s the norm Jesus is reestablishing: oneness with God as our rightful identity.
Then in John chapter 7, Jesus lays out something powerful—but also normal, when you understand who you are:
Whoever believes on me, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. This isn’t reserved for spiritual elite.
This is everyone who believes. If we can believe what Jesus says to us about us, then the same flow of God that moved through Him will flow from within us.
Because the source is already in us—we are one with God.
