DAY 22: Remember Who You Are
Reading Luke 20-22
Today’s reading is Luke chapters 20–22, and these chapters remind us of something powerful about walking in oneness with God.
First, it shows us this truth: It’s normal to be questioned—even when you’re doing good works. Even when your life shows evidence of your oneness with God, there will still be people who try to discredit you or trap you in their own logic. But don’t worry. Keep the same energy.
Stay rooted in knowing who you are—one with God.
In chapter 20, when they try to catch Jesus in a political trap about paying taxes, He responds simply: “Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s, and render unto God what is God’s.”
This is a reminder that even in the midst of questions and opposition, keep giving your whole self to God. Let your identity remain complete and whole in Him.
In chapter 21, Jesus begins to warn about nations rising against nations, kingdoms against kingdoms, earthquakes, famines, and rumors of war. But then He says something that anchors the entire conversation: “In your patience possess ye your souls.” Even in chaos, don’t lose the fabric of your soul. Don’t let your oneness with God unravel. Stay grounded in the truth of who you are.
Finally, in chapter 22, we see what’s often called The Last Supper—or communion. Jesus says:“As often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, do it in remembrance of Me.” But this isn’t just about remembering an event. It’s about remembering an identity.
Remember:
You are in the Father, and the Father is in you.
You are the offspring of God.
You are one with Him.
You carry the breath of God in you—the same breath that made you a living soul.
Never forget who you really are.
